In 2025, Celebrating the Business of Being Latino
MLatino Media celebrates the 2025 edition of Hispanic Heritage Month with a new season of feature interviews in the original series “Yo. Un Latino en Minnesota.”
This year, the focus is on highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit of Latinos, recognizing the drive, creativity, and resilience that make Latino entrepreneurship one of the fastest-growing sectors both locally and nationally.
To celebrate the business of being Latino is to honor more than economic activity—it is to recognize identity, culture, and determination as forces that shape industries and communities. Latinos are not only professionals and entrepreneurs, but also visionaries who bring values of family, collaboration, and perseverance into every project. From small businesses to large enterprises, Latino leadership is reshaping the economic and cultural landscape of Minnesota and beyond.
“Producing our annual series ‘Yo. Un Latino en Minnesota’ gives us a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress our community has made and identify the themes that continue to shape the current conversation. It's inspiring to see that we've built a catalog of interviews with more than 40 community leaders, each sharing unique moments that invite conversation about highly relevant issues and the opportunities available to this ever-growing population in Minnesota. In 2025, we're focusing on exploring the concepts and motivations that make Latino entrepreneurship one of the fastest-growing sectors locally and nationally, while also highlighting the success of leaders who reflect the essence of our community. These and other profile interviews are a valuable window into Minnesota's Hispanic population through the voices of those who represent it." - Gustavo Mancilla, series producer and founder of MLatino Media.

In celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, “Yo. Un Latino en Minnesota” reaffirms that the business of being Latino is, above all, the business of possibility.
